About Us…
Just a bit of background about myself… I was born and raised in Connecticut and graduated from Berlin High School. My husband and I relocated because of a change in his job. When searching for a house we discovered the little town of Galway. I fell in love with it. We decided to settle here and build a home and raise our family. That was 19 years ago.
I have been homeschooling my children for the last 9 years, not because I did not like the school system, but because I wanted to be with my children. I enjoy being with them and wanted to be a part of their daily lives and their education. They are my gift from God.
When approached by many moms about continuing the preschool program here in Galway, I was a little apprehensive about committing myself to such a position as that.
Over a year ago, I felt God was calling me in the ministry, to work with and minister to our youth. Being a mom is a full time blessing, homeschooling is a full time work, working with youth, a full time service, and how was I to fit in school? God had a plan, so I step out knowing that I didn’t know what my future was but knowing Who holds my future made everything just right, so I enrolled into Bible School.
That brings me to the present. After much thought and prayer, I decided to explore the possibilities of being the preschool teacher. The more I thought about it, the more excited I became. A peace came over me. I knew that God was opening yet another door. I once said “God use me” and He is. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to do the teaching alone so this where my daughter Bethany comes in…..

Hi, I am Bethany, after attending Perth Bible Christian Academy and Spa Christian School, I was homeschooled until I graduated in 2012. Being a preschool teacher has always been a dream of mine since I was 8 years old. I love being able to teach the kiddos and show them a love of learning. I graduated from Grand Canyon University on-line for with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and my Masters in Early Childhood Special Education. I also have my New York State Teaching Certificate for Birth - 2nd Grade.
